Max Zanan is CEO and Founder of Total Dealer Compliance, an auditing firm that provides a comprehensive solution to ensure car dealers are fully compliant with Federal regulations within Sales, BDC, F&I, Fixed Ops, HR and IT departments. Zanan is a seasoned automotive industry expert with over 15 years of experience in sales, F&I and dealership consulting. He has helped several dealerships mitigate the risks and exposure through compliant practices. Previously, he held executive level positions in leading automotive dealerships and associated consulting companies.

Larry Edwards

Larry is a forty five year veteran of the industry the founder and Chairman of Edwards & Associates Consulting, Inc. His company specialize in assisting auto manufacturers, auto dealers, and auto repair facilities in improving their results. Current and former clients include organizations such as General Motors, Nissan, Chrysler, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), Automotive Service Association (ASA), Mighty Auto Parts, PPG, DuPont, Sherwin Williams and over eight thousand dealerships and independent repair facilities throughout North America.

Larry is certified by the Institute of Management Consulting as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) the only accredited body requiring client references, evidence of successful engagements, and completion of sitting examination on ethical practices; He is also certified by the National Speakers Association as a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). In addition to his top selling book “American Automobile Industry – 100 Years of Doing it the Same Way” he has published over 200 articles on strategy, innovation, team building, leadership, diversity, managing dealership service, parts, collisions shops and independent repair facilities. He is also the founder of industry newsletter Fixed Operations Digest now in its 20th year of publishing helpful tips for fixed operations managers.

Larry gives over 20 workshops each year on effective management techniques. Larry has done keynote speeches for; Fixed Operations Magazine National Conference, General Motors, Ford, Honda, Nissan, Chrysler and Infiniti national sales meetings as well as several dealer State Association Conventions. Additionally, he has conducted numerous workshops at the National Automobile Dealers Convention (NADA) and National Auto Body Conventions (NACE) Automotive Service Association Congress of Automotive Repair Shops Conventions (CARS). Dealership training courses developed by Larry have been translated into 35 different languages and are currently being utilized in 160 countries around the globe.

Larry is a Vietnam War Veteran. He served six years in the U.S. Navy and studied Supervisory Management at Georgia State University. He was recognized by “Who’s Who” for his contributions to the art of management. Larry travels, consults and speaks throughout North America. In his spare time he restores vintage cars.

Robert McCrie is professor of security management at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He has received the President's Award of Merit from ASIS International, the Harvey J. Watson Award from the National Association of Security Companies (NASCO) and the Breslin Award from the International Security Management Association (ISMA). He was named one of the "25 Most Influential Security Executives" by Security Magazine.

Julie Vaiman


Julie Vaiman is an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant.  Ms. Vaiman obtained Juris Doctorate degree from Pace University School of Law. After passing both, New York and New Jersey State Bar Exams, Ms. Vaiman?s passion for tax law compelled her to join an accounting firm in order to further her knowledge of tax procedures and accounting methodologies.  The State of New York licensed Ms. Vaiman as a Certified Public Accountant while Ms. Vaiman was employed at Weiser, LLP, an accounting firm, where she was involved in audits, including audits of pension plans, tax research for high net worth individuals and corporations, tax return preparation services, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audit defense.      

Prior to founding Julie I. Vaiman, Esq., CPA, a boutique tax law firm, Julie Vaiman was a tax attorney with Deloitte Tax, LLP, where Ms. Vaiman focused on exploring the US tax code and state tax codes to enable fortune 500 companies to substantiate particular tax deductions and positions, resulting in significant tax savings.  As a tax attorney, Ms. Vaiman also participated in numerous tax audits, providing legal justification and defense for fortune 500 companies. 

In 2010, Julie Vaiman founded Julie Vaiman, Esq., CPA, a boutique tax law firm.  Primary focus of the firm is tax audit defense and resolution of tax problems for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and all other types of entities. The firm provides representation in tax court proceedings, tax appeals, and negotiations with IRS and state taxing authorities.  The firm offers tax planning and tax preparation services for high net worth individuals and businesses.  The firm also specializes in drafting contracts, such as partnership agreements, operating agreements, and buy-sell agreements.

Robert Milman

ROBERT F. MILMAN, born New York, New York, January 16, 1963; admitted to bar, 1988, New York; U.S. District Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  Education:  Boston University (B.A., 1985); St. John's University (J.D., 1988). 

Member, New York State Bar Association.  Mr. Milman has represented management in all facets of labor and employment law. Robert provides 24/7 service and advice to clients – managers, human resources professionals and owners.  He assists clients with human resources issues, including decisions concerning hiring, firing, promotions, compensation, and leaves. He counsels employers with respect to a wide range of employment issues, including discharge, discipline and other personnel problems; sexual harassment investigations; family and medical leave issues; employment agreements; separation agreements; reductions-in-force; contact administration; independent contractor status; drug-testing; alternative dispute resolution programs; and protective review and revision of handbooks, leave policies, harassment policies, employment applications and other personnel materials.

As a highly-experienced employment law trial lawyer, Robert has successfully defended clients in scores of individual, class and collective actions; hundreds of mediations and arbitration proceedings; and achieved multiple defense verdicts in state and federal courts involving varies employment and labor law claims.  Mr. Milman has conducted seminars for professional groups on such topics as state and federal equal employment opportunity law, sexual harassment, disability accommodation, preparing a case under investigation by a discrimination agency, comparable worth, and employee protections under the National Labor Relations Act.  Robert has extensive experience in representing Automobile dealership in the NY Metropolitan Area.

Anatoly Derin

Anatoly Derin, founder and CEO of CCIE Services LLC, a technology company, and has proven himself being one of the top ranked internetworking experts in the world. Mr. Derin began his IT career in 1995 as a hands on field support engineer. He grew his computer and networking knowledge through a number of different IT jobs with various skill sets, ranging from desktop support to Y2K engineer, from networking consultant to internetworking engineer. In August of 2002, after 7 years working in IT industry, Mr. Derin has passed the rigorous industry testing and was recognized as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert #9959. Since then Mr. Derin has maintained his active Expert level and enhanced his internetworking expertise with security technologies. In April of 2007 Mr. Derin met the requirements of National Security Agency and the Committee on National Security Systems for being recognized as Information Systems Security Professional.

Mr. Derin graduated Franklyn Delano Roosevelt High School in Brooklyn, New York, with merits and in top 5% of all American students in the class of 1993. He studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Minnesota, and then majored in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnic University in New York City. His love of engineering and biomedical science paved the way and provided the out of the box thinking in his career!
